Our Background
A Journey Through The Highlands
The journey started back in 2017 when the Scotch and Other Whiskies Society was first formed. After 2 years and 7 dedicated committee members, the Club has evolved in many different aspects. November 2019 marks a huge landmark in the Scotch and other Whiskies Society.
The Calgary Petroleum Club is pleased to announce our very own private label Scotch Whisky on its way direct from Scotland.
History in a Bottle
More About Our Scotch
After 2 years, numerous successful events and many Slainte Mhath greetings, the CPC has made a name for themselves in the world of whisky. After much discussion among the Commitee, Ryan develops a proposal and submit's it to CPC's Management and Board of Governors. After careful consideration, the proposal was approved and the CPC was on their way to having their own Private Label Scotch! The club decided to reach out to their favourite distillery located in Scotland, Tomatin Distillery. After much planning and dedication the Club roles out their first of many exclusive CPC bottling's!

Each CPC Tomatin Private Label 13-year Highland Scotch Whisky is presented in a custom gift box with description booklet outlining this inaugural expression of this exquisite and exclusive whisky, and includes our own CPC customized label, ribbon and wax seal with bottling date and individual bottle number.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Perceived aromas result from the production and ageing processes of the whisky. CPC Scotch introduces a burst of vanilla to start, then followed by some floral notes with a hint of maple and roasted nuts.

Palate:
What gives whisky its flavours are the sapid molecules of which it is composed. When tasting we found our Scotch to be rather festive. A buttery Christmas spice that entwines with apple pie as some dried fruits emerge towards the end. A drop of water brings some softer fruitier notes and a pecan and almond finish.

The Finish:
The finish corresponds to the stimulation of the sensory receptors by the aromatic molecules that are released from the mouth to the back of the throat. The CPC Scotch presents long and pleasant with hints of coffee, butterscotch and spice.
